ROSTERED IN: 75% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Texas Rangers starting pitcher Jacob deGrom is on the verge of returning to the major leagues and should be rostered in all formats. The former two-time Cy Young winner underwent Tommy John surgery last summer and began a rehab assignment in late August.
Through 10 2/3 innings in the minors, the hard-throwing right-hander held a near-perfect 0.84 ERA, 0.47 WHIP, and a 1:15 BB:K ratio.

Last summer through a limited major league sample size, deGrom was looking comfortable in Texas as he posted a 2.67 ERA and a 0.76 WHIP across six starts. Through this stint, he held an incredible 39.1% K rate with a 3.5% BB rate.
Even though he may only see a handful of starts down the stretch, the 36-year-old possesses incredible strikeout potential with elite command. The former ninth-round selection should be rostered in every league, as he could be one of the most valuable pitchers in the final weeks of the 2024 season.
