Jack Neely is a fantasy baseball dynasty waiver wire pickup for Week 11 (2024). Read about Jack Neely's season to date.
PROSPECT: Jack Neely, RHP, New York Yankees
ERIC CROSS' LATEST PROSPECT RANKING: N/A
CALL-UP ETA: Late 2024/Early 2025
ANALYSIS: New York Yankees' No. 24 prospect Jack Neely has quickly moved up the minor league ranks. After being drafted in the 11th round of the 2021 MLB Draft, Neely continues to perform at a high level out of the bullpen. In 2022, he finished with a 3.58 ERA and 87 strikeouts across 50 1/3 innings pitched in Single-A and High-A.
Then, last year, Neely had just a 2.17 ERA combined in High-A and Double-A. He also struck out 100 batters across 66 1/3 IP while holding opposing hitters to a .166 average. That success has continued for the right-hander in 2024, as he has a 2.03 ERA in 18 appearances with Double-A Somerset.

All Neely has done in his minor league career is produce. He has a career 2.60 ERA across three levels (Single-A, High-A, and Double-A) with 235 strikeouts. That makes the 23-year-old an interesting stash in dynasty formats. While he isn't an add right now, he is someone to keep an eye on because he could eventually settle into a high-leverage role for the Yankees in the future.
