ANALYSIS:
Flaherty hasn't had the best season so far. He has a 4.27 ERA and a 4.46 xFIP, but he hasn't allowed an earned run in each of his last two starts totaling 12.2 innings. Since May 9, he has a 3.09 ERA over 10 starts. Flaherty hasn't thrown even 100 innings since 2019.
As he approaches that number this year, he seems to be regaining his footing as a solid member of the Cardinals rotation. Flaherty only has six wins this season, but he's struck out 89 batters in 92.2 innings. He's been a reliable strikeout pitcher all year.
