Jace Jung is a fantasy baseball waiver wire stash for Week 22 (2024). Target Jace Jung as a top prospect free-agent waiver wire pickup for fantasy baseball.
BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: August 16
ANALYSIS: The Tigers are embracing the youth movement, bringing up both Jace Jung and Trey Sweeney from Triple-A at the same time. Jung has spent the entire season at Triple-A Toledo, playing 95 games for the Mud Hens this season while smacking 14 home runs and racking up 60 RBI.
Jung piled up 23 doubles while hitting .257 this year but also walked 63 times to give him an impressive .377 OBP.

The Tigers are ready to move on from journeyman Gio Urshela at third base, who was just a placeholder anyway. Jung should step in as the everyday third baseman and get a chance here in the final six weeks of the regular season to make his case to start the 2025 season with the Tigers.
He's rostered in just 4% of Yahoo! leagues currently, so he's widely available and should be added in leagues with 14 or more teams, as he offers as much upside as most other options on the waiver wire in those deeper formats.
