J.D. McKissic (RB, WAS) - Fantasy Football Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups

ANALYSIS: I know. Antonio Gibson is Washington's RB1 and that won't change any time soon. I mean, the production is higher than that of J.D. McKissic, he's edging J.D. by 2.3 PPR points per game, has 14.1 more total PPR points over six games, etc, etc... But you know what? Gibson is playing 56% of the Footies snaps to a rather high 45% snap share from McKissic. Again, McKissic is an RB2 in this offense, yet his usage is insanely high for his role. And he's making the most of his chances, by far.

McKissic is coming off his second-best game of the season and just posted his season-high in playing time with 36 offensive snaps for a tasty 61% snap share over Gibson's 23 snaps/39% snap share. Sure thing, Gibson was banged up a bit. Even then, though, he rushed the rock 10 times for a measly 44 yards while fumbling the egg once and he also added all of zero receiving yards on a 2-of-3 pass-catching performance. McKissic, on the other hand, closed W6 with 19.0 PPR points to the tune of a neat 8-carry, 45-yard rushing game to which he added 65 receiving yards catching 8-of-10 targets.

The only thing missing from McKissic's Week 6 outing was the touchdown, but the opportunities and touches were so high that I don't really worry about that. McKissic and Gibson will keep sharing the field on a rather balanced basis, so don't hesitate to add the Footies RB2 ROS. Fantastic cheap/free addition to pretty much every team part of the slightest of deeper formats out there.
