ANALYSIS: Isaiah Likely, who emerged as Mark Andrew’s replacement when he got hurt in Week 11 last season, faired quite well to finish off 2023. From Week 12 and beyond, when he took over as Baltimore’s starter, Likely compiled 83.2 fantasy points (PPR) and averaged 13.9 fantasy points per game.
Heading into 2024, though, with Andrews returning, Likely was expected to take a step back and have little to no fantasy impact. However, as we saw in Week 1, that may not be the case.
Likely had a monster game, where he accumulated nine receptions for 111 yards and scored one touchdown. His foot was about an inch too long from him securing a second touchdown in the dying seconds of the fourth quarter to win the game.
WELCOME TO THE 2024 SEASON.
THE RAVENS LOSE JUST OFF A MISSED FOOT.
ISIAH LIKELY HAVE A GAME 🔥🔥🔥

While Likely had the best game of his career, Andrews was quiet and only had two receptions for 14 yards. It is also worth noting that Andrews was seen on the sideline for many of Baltimore’s key offensive plays down the stretch.
To say that Likely will replace Andrews as the Ravens’ TE1 for the remainder of the season is a wild stretch and will likely not be the case. Andrews is simply too talented not to accumulate a larger target share and have a large fantasy impact.
However, fantasy managers can use Likely as a streamer until Andrews shows that he is fully healthy and capable of consistently producing at his usual elite level. Likely’s role should be bigger than originally anticipated.
