After a rough showing against the Jets in Week 1 (who isn’t going to have a rough showing against that defense this year?), Isaiah Crowell bounced back with a strong showing against Tennessee in Week 2, rushing for 72 yards and a touchdown.
His long term fantasy football upside may be limited, as he’s sharing carries with talented rookie Duke Johnson, but this week’s matchup against the Raiders is too sweet to miss. The Raiders have given up 233 yards (4.66 yards per carry) and three touchdowns to opposing RBs this year, making them amongst the most generous defenses for fantasy running backs.
If you're making lineup decisions, and are torn between running backs, give Crowell strong consideration for Week 3. His matchup makes him a high-end RB2/FLEX option in all league formats, including daily fantasy games where finding undervalued matchups is key. Crowell is a solid start this week and should be getting plenty of volume, so don't be afraid to roll him out there.
