Is Zay Jones Hurt Or Healthy?
Jacksonville acquired Zay Jones prior to the 2022 season and the wide receiver looked worth every penny last week. Jones put forth his best game of the season in the Jags' upset victory over the Baltimore Ravens, going for 145 receiving yards while grabbing 11 of 14 targets.
Unfortunately, Jones exits the week dealing with a chest injury. The situation has forced the 27-year-old to be a limited participant in Jacksonville's Wednesday and Thursday practice sessions.
Zay Jones Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 13
After dropping his biggest stat line of the year against Baltimore last week, Jones must now overcome a chest injury to keep the positive momentum going.
Fantasy managers will need to monitor Jones' practice status on Friday, but murmurs out of Jacksonville indicate that he'll be good to go against Detroit. If he is indeed active, it's an enticing matchup for the Jags' passing attack. The Lions have allowed the third-most receiving yards in the NFL to the WR position this year. Assuming he enters the week with no limitations, Jones can be considered a WR3/FLEX option against Detroit.
