Las Vegas Raiders running back Zamir White has shown fantasy managers why a few good games at the end of the season on huge volume and a ton of hype in the offseason doesn't justify drafting a player highly for the next year. White has been one of the worst draft picks anyone could make at his ADP.
There was a cool picture of him on a horse looking absolutely shredded, though, and he has one of the best nicknames in the business (Zeus). That hasn't led to production, unfortunately, and the supposed Greek god hasn't helped anyone win their fantasy matchups this year.
He also appeared on the Raiders' injury report, so is he hurt or healthy? Will he play in Week 5? Aren't gods supposed to be invincible?

Zamir White Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Zamir isn't invincible. He is dealing with a groin issue and was limited at practice on Wednesday. He'll likely carry a similar designation on Thursday.

There wasn't much more information than that. At times, there's not much info about fantasy-irrelevant players until more becomes available. Check back for more updates on his status at a later point.
Zamir White Fantasy Football Outlook
The third-year back is the RB54 on the season. That's not even worth rostering yet because he's a lead back. He's still on 61% of rosters, but he probably shouldn't be. Even if he has a big game, Zamir has no path toward consistent success, especially in PPR.

The famous SpongeBob meme describes watching the entire Raiders offense this year. It's incredibly uninteresting. Not a lot of huge plays, bottom-10 in total yards per game, lack of huge playmakers, and new offensive coordinator Luke Getsy, fresh off his mismanagement of the Chicago Bears.
#Raiders HC Antonio Pierce on Alexander Mattison:
“He’s deserved more reps. And he’ll get ‘em.”

Zamir White is somehow the most Alexander Mattison-like of all players on a team with Alexander Mattison (how the hell does that even happen?). White is being outperformed (mostly) by Mattison in the same manner that Mattison was outperformed by Ty Chandler in Minnesota.
Just like Mattison was a back that produced well as the RB2 in the absence of the lead back in 2022, then became the starter and disappointed massively, Zamir has done the same thing, out-Mattisoning Mattison. It's impressive stuff, really. White has just 3.1 yards per carry on the season.

There's nothing redeeming. There's no hope. The writing is on the wall. Zamir will almost certainly not be fantasy-relevant this year unless another god provides some kind of divine intervention. He has 3.1 yards per carry on the season and is averaging 4.45 PPR fantasy points per game. He's okay to drop.
