Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis was the 33rd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Titans traded up in the second round to secure the rookie quarterback. Furthermore, the team reportedly tried to trade back into the first round of the NFL Draft to select Levis.
The young quarterback started his college career at Penn State. Levis completed 59.8% of his pass attempts for 644 yards, three touchdowns, and two interpretations in his two years with the Nittany Lions. He also had 133 rushing attempts for 473 yards and six touchdowns on the ground.
Levis transferred to Kentucky before the 2021 season and had a breakout year. He completed 66% of his pass attempts for 2,826 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. The young quarterback also had 107 rushing attempts for 376 yards and nine touchdowns. He set career highs in every category.

What Did Will Levis Accomplish In 2022?
Despite some calling for the Kentucky star to declare for the 2022 NFL Draft, Levis turned to school for his senior year. Unfortunately, the young quarterback saw his numbers regress after losing offensive coordinator Liam Coen to the NFL. Levis completed 65.4% of his pass attempts for 2,406 yards, 19 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions last season.
Unfortunately, the Kentucky star dealt with multiple injuries during the 2022 season. The injuries impacted his passing and rushing production. Levis saw his rushing attempts drop by 32.7% and his touchdowns decline by 77.8% last year from the year before. Furthermore, the young quarterback lost his top wide receiver, Wan’Dale Robinson, to the NFL in 2021, impacting his play.
Is Will Levis Worth Drafting In Superflex Leagues?
While the Titans traded up during the NFL Draft to secure the rookie quarterback, Levis likely won’t see the field this year. Ryan Tannehill has been productive over the past few years and remains the favorite to be the Week 1 starter. However, the rookie quarterback has been solid over the first few days of training camp.
Typically all 32 starting NFL quarterbacks get selected in superflex drafts. Furthermore, some top backups with the chance to start might get drafted too. However, Levis isn’t worth picking in redraft leagues. The only way the rookie sees the field this season is if Tannehill gets hurt or the Titans end up being one of the worst teams in the NFL.
