Wan'Dale Robinson Injury Update
Robinson remains on the PUP (Physically Unable To Perform) list after suffering a torn ACL in his rookie campaign. The 22-year-old is still less than nine months removed from surgery and has not practiced yet. However, he was seen running routes on the side at Giants' practice on Tuesday.
It's unclear whether Robinson could be activated from the PUP list before the start of the 2023 campaign. Surely, there will be further updates on his status soon.
Wan'Dale Robinson 2023 Fantasy Football Outlook
Robinson tore his ACL in the same game he caught nine of his 13 targets for 100 yards. That said, it looked like he was going to get more involved in the ascending G-Men offense led by Daniel Jones.
However, the team brought in Jalin Hyatt, Jamison Crowder, Parris Campbell, and Darren Waller this offseason. While its wide receiver room isn't full of stars, there are plenty of young players and veterans with potential. As Robinson works his way back from knee surgery, the team might opt to bring him along slowly given the multitude of pass-catchers on the roster.
In half-PPR formats, Robinson is usually going off the draft board after the first 80 wideouts. Ultimately he's not worth draft consideration in traditional 12-team leagues. Instead, fantasy managers should keep him on their personal waiver wire watchlist. He could emerge at some point, but there's not too much to be excited about at this point in the preseason.
