New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. was a popular deep sleeper entering this season after the team made two massive moves in the offseason.
The Giants replaced Saquon Barkley with Devin Singletary in free agency. May believed the veteran would lose the starting job at some point this year.
Tracy has played well lately. Should fantasy players add him off the waiver wire this week?

Is Tyrone Tracy Jr. A Good Fantasy Football Pickup For Week 7?
The rookie running back has been outstanding over the past two weeks as the starter. He has had 35 rushing attempts for 179 yards and a touchdown over the past two weeks. Furthermore, Tracy had seven receptions for 58 receiving yards in the past two games. The rookie scored 13.5 half-point PPR fantasy points or more in both contests.
Tracy had 19.7 fantasy points in Week 6, totaling 107 scrimmage yards on 23 touches. Even if Singletary returns in Week 7, the rookie running back has at least made the backfield a 50-50 timeshare.

Tyrone Tracy Jr. Week 7 Fantasy Football Outlook
Unfortunately, Singletary has missed the past two weeks with a groin injury. While some hope he can return this week, the veteran running back has barely practiced since getting hurt, meaning his chances of playing in Week 7 are muddy at best.
RB injuries to monitor this week:
Jonathan Taylor (ankle)
De'Von Achane (concussion)
Aaron Jones (hip)
Jordan Mason (shoulder)
James Cook (foot)
Rhamondre Stevenson (foot)
Brian Robinson (knee)
Devin Singletary (groin)

Therefore, Tracy could get his third consecutive start against the Philadelphia Eagles. Last week, they gave up 88 rushing yards to the Cleveland Browns backfield despite missing Nick Chubb. Furthermore, Jerome Ford left the game early with a hamstring injury.
More importantly, Philadelphia has surrendered over 100 rushing yards to running backs in 60% of their games, including to a below-average Tampa Bay Buccaneers backfield in Week 4.
Fantasy players can start Tracy as a mid-range RB2 with upside this week in a critical NFC East divisional matchup.
