Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett has had an excellent 2022 season. After the team traded away Russell Wilson in the offseason, the veteran receiver was supposed to struggle this year.
Instead, the former Kansas State star has had arguably the best year of his career. Lockett is the WR13 for the year, averaging 12.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
However, the star receiver has dealt with some injuries lately.

Is Tyler Lockett Healthy Or Injured?
Lockett suffered a finger injury in Week 15 against the San Francisco 49ers. Despite the injury, the veteran receiver had seven receptions for 68 receiving yards and 10.3 fantasy points in the game.
Unfortunately, he needed surgery and missed the Week 16 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Yet, Lockett returned last week against the New York Jets in a must-win game for the Seahawks.
The veteran receiver briefly left the game against the Jets with a leg injury. Thankfully, he returned to the game and finished the contest with a problem.
Should I Start Tyler Lockett In Week 18?
Last week the former Kansas State star struggled, totaling only two receptions for 15 receiving yards against New York. However, that isn’t a surprise, given the matchup.
The Jets have held wide receivers to only 20.7 fantasy points per game this season, one of the lowest averages in the NFL. Furthermore, they have given up only 10 receiving touchdowns to wide receivers this year, the third-fewest in the league.
However, Lockett found the end zone in six straight games before getting hurt against the 49ers.
Meanwhile, he faces the Los Angeles Rams in Week 18. The Rams have surrendered 27.9 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season, one of the higher averages in the NFL. Last week, they gave up 12 receptions for 154 receiving yards and 22.2 fantasy points to Mike Williams and Keenan Allen.
Furthermore, Los Angeles has struggled to slow down wide receivers lately. Over the past eight games, the Rams have surrendered 31.7 fantasy points per game to wide receivers.
Lockett isn’t a must-start in Week 18. However, he is a solid WR2 option against the Rams in a must-win game for Seattle.
