Tennessee Titans wideout Treylon Burks was the clear offensive star of the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2020 and 2021, which caused him to get drafted 18th overall by the Titans in the 2022 draft.
During his rookie campaign, he showed some flashes of his potential but dealt with many injury setbacks. Burks missed six games with the Titans in 2022 and injured his knee during a joint practice in August. His current status is unclear for Week 1, but we do have an update.
Is Burks playing in Week 1 against the Saints? Should you start him in fantasy football? Let's take a look.

Despite nothing official being announced, Burks looks ready and good to go against New Orleans in the first game of his sophomore campaign, as he's no longer listed as questionable.
Titans HC Mike Vrabel has gradually increased Burks' workload in every practice, and Burks is currently practicing without any padding of his injured left Knee.
Should I Start Treylon Burks In Week 1?
Burks is a risky pick as a starter for Week 1, even if he's completely healthy. This Saints team is very strong defensively and could make things difficult for Burks.
Last season, the Saints were one of the NFL's best pass defenses, allowing just 5.8 yards per pass attempt and a 60.1 pass completion percentage. Burks could be utilized as a flex option, but if Burks doesn't play, fantasy managers could use other sleepers like Kadarius Toney and Van Jefferson, who could blossom this week due to injuries to Travis Kelce and Cooper Kupp.
It'll be easier to assess Burks' outlook when he's 100% and fully healthy. As of right now, he's a WR3/flex option.
