Is Trevor Lawrence Out For The Season?
When Trevor Lawrence initially went down with his injury, there were suggestions that the Jaguars could be without their starting quarterback for the rest of the 2024 season.
But it's looking more and more like that isn't the case. Lawrence returned to practice on Wednesday and is expected to get most of the first-team reps. That suggests that not only will Lawrence play again in 2024, but that he could suit up as soon as Sunday's game against the Houston Texans.

Lawrence was 18-for-33 for 169 yards with two touchdowns in the first meeting between the Jaguars and Texans. While it's possible he could be held out longer out of precaution, fantasy managers should be optimistic that Lawrence will be back.
Even if he's held out against Houston, Lawrence will play again in 2024 barring a setback this week at practice.
Jacksonville Jaguars Quarterback Fantasy Football Outlook
Before his injury, Trevor Lawrence was playing his best football of the season, finishing as a top 10 fantasy quarterback in both Week 8 and Week 9, fueled by three rushing scores over that span.
Lawrence would be a mid-range QB2 play against the Houston Texans if he ends up back on the field.
If Jacksonville holds him out for another week, the team will once again turn to Mac Jones as the starter. The former Alabama star and New England Patriots first-round pick has started the past two games and has struggled.
