Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence is starting to become the player the team thought he was going to be when they drafted him first overall in the 2021 NFL draft.
After an extremely disappointing rookie season, the second-year pro is beginning to live up to the hype and he's putting up the numbers to prove it. Not only that, but he has his team in position for a playoff spot, words that are not often spoken in Jacksonville.
It hasn't been all puppy dogs and ice cream for Lawrence, however, as he has dealt with a lingering toe injury for multiple weeks. Is he still injured or will he play in Week 18? Let's take a closer look.

Trevor Lawrence Injury News
The Jaguars embarrassed the Houston Texans in Week 17 by a score of 31-3. The team has won four straight games and five of their last six. They are red hot, and their quarterback isn't far behind.
The former Clemson University star was pulled from Sunday's contest against Houston after his first lackluster fantasy performance in weeks. The Jaguars scored multiple touchdowns on the ground, the score was lopsided, and the team probably wanted to give their star quarterback's injury as much rest as possible.
He continues to deal with the residual effects of the sprained toe he suffered during a Week 13 loss to the Lions. He has missed multiple practices since then and often has been listed as limited on practice reports. The good news is, after not participating on Tuesday, he was back at practice on Wednesday afternoon.
Is Trevor Lawrence Injured or Playing in Week 18 Fantasy Football?
Although Lawrence has been dealing with this nagging issue for over a month, he has yet to miss a game. There are zero reasons to think Week 18 will be any different.
It's pretty simple, the Jaguars are going nowhere if their franchise quarterback isn't able to play. He's the one who stirs the drink, and the man most responsible for potentially taking a starving Jacksonville fanbase back to the playoffs. This Saturday night in a prime-time matchup with their division rivals, the Tennessee Titans, he has that opportunity.
With a win, the team will clinch the AFC South title and head to the playoffs for the first time since 2017, but if they lose, their season will be over. Do you actually think the distinctive 6' 6'' freak athlete with long blonde hair is going to watch this one from the sidelines with a sore toe? Me neither.
