Tee Higgins wound up getting shut out in a Week 5 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. In fact, he wasn't even targeted in the contest.
Higgins came into Week 5 dealing with an ankle injury and the issue clearly affected him against Baltimore.
The Cincinnati receiver is clearly still hobbled by the ankle, casting doubt on Higgins' Week 6 availability. Will Higgins be active in Week 6 or will his ankle injury prevent him from playing? If he plays, can he be trusted after last week? Let's dive in and take a look.

Tee Higgins Injury Updates for Fantasy Football
Update-Sunday, October 16: Higgins is active in Week 6.
Tee Higgins Injury News
As mentioned above, Higgins has been dealing with an ankle injury since Week 4. He got in a full week of limited practices before drawing a questionable tag heading into the Sunday night game in Week 5.
It is unclear whether Higgins reaggravated the injury during Week 5 or if he shouldn't have suited up in the first place, but he wound up playing on just 15.9% of the snaps and did not take the field after halftime.
Tee Higgins said last night about his ankle injury that he tried to run a route early in the game, he couldn't and he knew "I just wasn't ready."
"I don’t want to force myself out there, make it worse and be out for the season. But this is nothing major."

The Bengals will hope to get him back for a Week 6 matchup against the Saints but it may be beneficial for him to sit out for a week and allow the ankle to heal up a bit. Higgins himself has indicated that this is not a severe ankle sprain, so this doesn't have the looks of a multi-week injury at the moment.
Is Tee Higgins Injured or Playing in Week 6?
The initial outlook on Higgins' Week 6 availability is up in the air, although head coach Zac Taylor is calling the wideout "day-to-day" with the ankle sprain.
Bengals WR Tee Higgins will be day-to-day with a sprained ankle, per Zac Taylor. LT Jonah Williams with a sprained MCL. Those will be managed through the week.

Higgins' week got off to a good start as he will be able to practice on a limited basis early in the week.

If he follows the same pattern as he did last week and is able to get out there for limited practices through the end of the week without suffering a setback, it should be safe to assume he will be starting against the Saints on Sunday. Also, be sure to monitor his final injury designation. If he gets another questionable tag, that could indicate that he's in a similar spot as he was in last week. That being said, be sure to check back as we will update his status here as more information becomes available.
