Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell had an incredible rookie season, but it was unfortunately cut short due to a major lower-body injury. The Houston alum became one of C.J. Stroud's top targets in a surprisingly potent offense, and he'll have plenty of fantasy football intrigue moving forward.
However, the 24-year-old's offseason recovery timeline will play a major factor in his 2024 value and fantasy ADP.
Will Dell be ready for training camp, and what is his fantasy outlook heading into 2024? We have the latest update on his status.

Tank Dell Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Dell (leg) is making a sound recovery from a broken fibula in his rookie season and said that he's expecting to be back for organized team activities this spring. The 24-year-old hasn't had any setbacks after having surgery 10 and a half weeks ago, and he also started doing pool work last month. Barring a setback, Dell should be ready to roll for the start of training camp this summer.
The third-round pick amazed in his rookie season in 2023 while working with quarterback C.J. Stroud before breaking his leg, catching 47 of 75 targets for 709 yards and seven touchdowns in his first year in the NFL.

Tank Dell Fantasy Football Outlook
In year two with Stroud and offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik, Dell should be able to pick up where he left off. He posted three games of at least 114 yards and caught at least one touchdown in his final four games before suffering the Week 12 injury.
Houston adding to its pass-catching group via free agency or the 2024 NFL Draft could affect his outlook negatively, but he already has chemistry with Stroud and looked to be taking the No. 1 wide receiver role away from Nico Collins late in his rookie campaign.
