Minnesota Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson (knee) is extremely good at football, specifically at getting open, catching the ball, gaining yards, scoring touchdowns, and stunting on opposing defenses. He has three finishes inside the top-5 tight ends in full-PPR fantasy scoring.
He's a stud's stud, one of the best at his position, and will provide a huge boost to a Vikings offense that's had a few struggles this season. They're one of the better teams in the league, and their offensive attack could become a juggernaut with the addition of this two-time Pro Bowler.
So will he finally play this week and is he healthy?

Is T.J. Hockenson Injured or Playing in Week 9?
HE'S FINALLY BACK. Hock will play. Seriously. It's time. He will reportedly be a "full go" -- Minnesota has taken their time letting him recover fully from his ACL tear in 2023. He's been ahead of schedule. He may see somewhat restricted volume despite what the coaches say, but he's B A C K.

The expectation is he will play his first game since injuring his knee last year this Sunday against the Colts.@kare11 #Skol pic.twitter.com/IHXv04lZpy

There shouldn't be any concern for setbacks. It's likely his knee has been fully healed for some time now. There may be some rough spots to work out over the coming weeks, but they're probably minor.
T.J. Hockenson Fantasy Football Injury Outlook
He won't be limited on snaps at all. Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell has indicated as much. Fantasy managers can expect the lingering effects of his injury to be minimal. Of course, there's always a few games needed to get acclimated for most players.

He's a must-start at tight end simply due to his upside. He's an absurdly talented player, and he's returning to the same offense he's played in for years. He'll have a new quarterback, but Sam Darnold has played reasonably well this season, and Hock will elevate his ceiling anyway.

He's elite. Put him in your starting lineups if you have him, and don't be nervous about it.
