The career of Saquon Barkley has been a frustrating one. After being picked second overall in the 2018 draft, Saquon had an electrifying start to his career that made Giants fans believe that they had found the next Tiki Barber. He finished as fantasy football's overall RB1 as a rookie and RB10 as a sophomore (PPR format).
But a torn ACL in Week 2 of the 2020 season halted his progress. He had a subpar return season in 2021 which caused questions about his future in the NFL to pop up. He bounced back in a major way last season, finishing as the RB5, but once again Saquon got hurt in the 2023 season.
Is Barkley playing in Week 4 against the Seahawks? Should you start him in fantasy football? Let's take a look.

Is Saquon Barkley Injured or Healthy?
Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) is questionable heading into the game against Seattle. HC Brian Daboll told reporters that Barkley "looked good".

After taking part in individual drills and wearing pads for the first time since his injury, Daboll said that Barkley "feels a lot better," but he'll be very cautious with his star running back. "We'll take that all the way throughout the week and see how he improves."
According to observers, Barkley appeared to be moving comfortably in a straight line during the early portion of Friday’s practice but didn’t appear to go full speed or do any real cutting.
Should I Start Saquon Barkley In Week 4?
Even if he does play, Barkley will be a risky option. He'll be rusty and might see a lower workload against a Seahawks defense who have been very efficient at stopping the run.
Despite giving up five rushing touchdowns, no running back has racked up more than 67 yards against this Seahawks defense so far this season. They have also given up just 2.9 yards per carry (YPC). Though they have allowed a lot of fantasy points to RBs (fifth-most per game in the PPR format), that number is inflated due to the touchdowns.
In his lone game against Seattle, Barkley managed to rack up just 53 yards on 20 attempts (2.7 YPC). His only saving grace was a touchdown. His 15.2 PPR points that week were 2.6 points below his season average of 17.8. Looking at other options would be a wise move until Barkley regains his full health.
