New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley suffered an ankle injury in a Week 2 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Since then, he hasn't played a single game, and it has left many people worried.
The Giants have lost three straight games in Barkley's absence, and quarterback Daniel Jones has struggled massively. The Giants are set to face the Buffalo Bills in Week 6, and if their star running back doesn't play again, it could be another one-sided game.
Will Barkley play in Week 6? Let's take a look at his injury update for fantasy football.

Saquon Barkley Injury Update For Fantasy Football
As per the latest updates, Saquon Barkley is questionable to play against the Buffalo Bills. However, there is optimism around the franchise that the 26-year-old running back will be able to make a return from injury.
The Giants are off to a terrible 1-4 start, and their season is basically over. Injuries to the offensive line and Barkley have resulted in poor overall production from the offense, and the quarterback has looked quite bad.
Barkley signed a one-year, $10.091 million contract extension with the Giants this past offseason. Now the franchise needs him more than ever to compete in the remaining games, and it will be interesting to see how he performs upon his return from injury.
Saquon Barkley Fantasy Outlook
In the two games that he has played so far this season, Barkley has recorded 29 carries for 114 yards and scored two touchdowns. He is averaging 3.9 yards per carry and 57 yards per game, as the Giants' offensive line has failed to help their running game.
Barkley's presence will help Daniel Jones, but given how poorly their season has started, it's hard to envision them making the playoffs. In Barkley's absence, Matt Breida was the leading back for the Giants, and he wasn't able to play well.
So far this season, in five games, Breida has recorded 30 carries for 82 yards and scored one touchdown. The New York Giants were able to rely on Barkley's brilliance last season, and all eyes will once again be on the running back as he would like to prove his worth and get a big contract next year.
