After a few down years interrupted by assorted injuries, Saquon Barkey is off to a fast start in 2022. Barkley currently ranks as the overall RB3 in PPR scoring after five games.
While Barkley cruised through the first four games without any nicks or bruises, he briefly left Week 5's win over the Green Bay Packers with a shoulder injury.
While Barkley did return to the game last week, anytime the oft-injured running back pops up on the injury report it is a cause for concern. Will Barkley be active in Week 6 or will his ankle injury prevent him from playing? Let's dive in and take a look.

Saquon Barkley Injury Updates for Fantasy Football
Update-Friday, October 14: Barkley was removed from the final injury report and will play on Sunday.
Saquon Barkley Injury News
Barkley banged up his shoulder during the third quarter but he was able to return later in the contest. He appeared to be fine after returning in the fourth quarter as he ripped off a 41-yard reception and later scored a two-yard touchdown.
He wound up playing on 68.9% of the team's offensive snaps, a low-water mark for the season, but his ability to return to the game without further aggravating the injury is a good sign.
The star running back was also able to practice on a limited basis on Wednesday, which is a good sign in the early portion of the practice schedule.

Is Saquon Barkley Injured or Playing in Week 6?
The initial outlook on Barkley's Week 6 availability against the Baltimore Ravens is positive.
Saquon Barkley (shoulder) will be limited at Wednesday's practice, per coach Brian Daboll. There doesn't appear to be too much concern on that one though.

According to team beat reporter Jordan Raanan, there isn't much concern over Barkley's shoulder. That means it's likely that the Giants are just playing it safe with their star running back.
Saquon Barkley will likely have his participation limited today, but sounds like no physical limitations due to his jammed right shoulder from Sunday.#Giants

Be sure to keep an eye on the practice reports from Thursday and Friday, but it seems that Barkley will be able to suit up in Week 6 as long as he doesn't suffer a setback later in the week. Be sure to check back here throughout the week for updates on Barkley's injury status.
