The Miami Dolphins are on a record-breaking pace offensively to start the 2023 season. Averaging 37.2 points per game, this team has a handful of players who have performed at an incredible level in fantasy football.
This includes Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Raheem Mostert, and De'Von Achane. There have been more than enough fantasy points to go around.
In an offense so dynamic, could other players see success in the fantasy world, such as running back Salvon Ahmed?

What Did Salvon Ahmed Do In Week 6?
With De'Von Achane being placed on injured reserve due to a knee injury and Jeff Wilson Jr. inactive, Salvon Ahmed was thrust into an increased role against the Carolina Panthers.
On 9 touches, he was able to produce 23 rushing yards, 11 receiving yards, and a touchdown in a 42-21 victory.

Ahmed finishes as the RB19 in PPR formats and had his best game of the season so far.
Were There Any Worrying Signs With Salvon Ahmed In Week 6?
Despite churning out a solid fantasy performance, Ahmed did not see as many opportunities as most people expected.
#Dolphins Week 6 RB Usage
- Raheem Mostert: 61% snaps, 17 carries, 15 routes, 5 targets (126 yds, 2 TD)
- Salvon Ahmed: 38% snaps, 6 carries, 17 routes, 5 targets (34 yds, TD)Its Mostert's 3rd game with 25+ in the first 6 weeks

Even though the Dolphins won the game handily, Ahmed only saw six carries and 38% of snaps. Along with this, his touchdown came when the outcome of the game was already decided. When the game was still close, Raheem Mostert took a large majority of the opportunities.
Should I Pickup Salvon Ahmed Off the Waiver Wire in Fantasy Football?
So far, every running back that has seen opportunities from the Miami Dolphins has also seen great success. However, will Ahmed have enough opportunities to become a relevant fantasy roster spot?
It does not look great for him. Jeff Wilson Jr. is likely to return to the field within the next week or two, which will further drop Ahmed in the depth chart. On top of this, De'Von Achane's eventual return will likely drop Ahmed down to the team's fourth option at running back.
For fantasy teams that need an immediate player to grab and start off of the waiver wire, Ahmed is an okay pickup for most likely this week and not much longer. If the Dolphins running back room gets more healthy, he will fade away from fantasy prominence.
