Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill has had a disappointing season. The veteran is the QB22 for the year, averaging 13.4 fantasy points per game.
The passing attack has struggled after the team traded away A.J. Brown in the offseason. Over the previous two years, the veteran quarterback averaged 1.6 passing touchdowns per game. By comparison, he has averaged only 1.1 passing touchdowns per game this season.
Furthermore, Tannehill has dealt with numerous ankle injuries this year.

Is Ryan Tannehill Playing In Week 16?
The former first-round pick missed two games earlier this year because of an ankle injury. Unfortunately, Tannehill suffered another ankle injury last week against the Los Angeles Chargers. While he left the game and returned a series later, the Titans ruled out their starting quarterback for this week’s matchup.
With Tannehill out this week, Malik Willis will make his third career start tomorrow against the Houston Texans. However, is the rookie quarterback a solid starter for fantasy players?
Should I Pickup And Start Malik Willis?
Fantasy players should avoid the Tennessee rookie quarterback. Willis had only 26 pass attempts for 135 yards in his two starts earlier this season. Furthermore, the former Liberty quarterback started in the first matchup against the Texans this year, throwing only 10 pass attempts and scoring 1.4 fantasy points.
Instead, fantasy players should add Gardner Minshew off the waiver wire and start him against the Dallas Cowboys. The Philadelphia Eagles backup quarterback is available in over 80% of ESPN leagues.
Unfortunately, Jalen Hurts won’t play this week because of a shoulder injury. Therefore, Minshew will make his first start of the year tomorrow in a critical NFC East matchup.
The former Washington State star is an excellent streaming option this week. Last year, he started the Week 13 matchup against the New York Jets for an injured Hurts, throwing two touchdowns and scoring 18.8 fantasy points in a win. Furthermore, Minshew has averaged 16.9 fantasy points per game in his 25 career starts.
Meanwhile, Dallas has struggled to slow down opposing passing attacks lately. Over the past seven games, the Cowboys have given up 16.4 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. Furthermore, they have allowed quarterbacks to average 1.9 passing touchdowns per game during that span. Minshew should have no trouble totaling 17 or more fantasy points against the Cowboys.
