The Denver Broncos started third-year quarterback Brett Rypien in Week 7 as Russell Wilson was sidelined with a hamstring injury. With the team's Week 9 bye looming, it seemed possible, if not likely, that Wilson would remain inactive for a Week 8 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Fantasy managers of any offensive pieces in Denver need to be aware of who will be taking snaps under center on Sunday morning in London.
Let's take a look at Wilson's status heading into the weekend and what it means for your fantasy team.

Is Russell Wilson Playing In Week 8 Against The Jacksonville Jaguars?
Wilson was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday but was listed as a full participant on Friday. He stated earlier in the week that he intended to suit up against the Jaguars.
Wilson then created quite a stir on the internet after explaining his airborne workout routine to the media.
Russell Wilson told reporters he spent four hours working out and rehabbing on the Broncos’ flight to London.

Whether or not Wilson's high knee exercise woke his sleeping teammates, it helped him prepare for Sunday's contest as head coach Nathaniel Hackett announced on Friday that the 33-year-old is fully expected to start barring any setbacks.
Should I Start Russell Wilson In Week 8?
The Jaguars have allowed the 12th-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks this season, making this an intriguing matchup for Wilson. There is no denying that he has been extremely disappointing in both fantasy and real-life football through six weeks of play in 2022, though.
Hamstring injuries are tricky for fantasy purposes as there is always a risk of re-aggravation. When considering this risk in addition to his poor performance so far this season, Wilson is only worth starting as a mid-tier QB2 in two-quarterback or superflex formats.
His presence on the field should be valuable for fantasy managers of Courtland Sutton, however, as the wideout has been Wilson's go-to target since arriving in Denver.
