Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson has been nothing short of a disappointment in fantasy football through six weeks, but his injury status is still important to monitor as the season rolls along. Inevitably, fantasy football managers will refuse to give up on the nine-time Pro-Bowler and former Seattle Seahawk and Super Bowl Champion.
In Superflex or two-quarterback leagues, his game-day status definitely matters, because he's still a must-start with the scarcity at the QB position in those formats.
Is Wilson healthy enough to play in Week 7 against the New York Jets, and is he worth starting in single-QB leagues?

Is Russell Wilson Playing In Week 7?
Wilson (hamstring) is considered day-to-day after an MRI exam on Tuesday. The 33-year-old suffered a hamstring injury during Monday's overtime loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. It sounds like the team is going to wait and see how Wilson feels throughout the week, but fantasy managers should consider him questionable for the Week 7 matchup against the New York Jets.
That said, there's not too much worry that he'll miss the game, even though he's also dealing with a shoulder injury. That's not to say the injury won't affect his play.
Should I Start Russell Wilson In Week 7?
Obviously, Wilson remains a start in two-QB or Superflex leagues, but he's become benchable in traditional fantasy leagues for managers who have better options. The New York Jets aren't pushovers anymore and have surrendered the 11th-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks thus far.
Wilson's upside is still higher than borderline QB2s, but guys like Derek Carr, Geno Smith, Jared Goff, and Trevor Lawrence have outscored him in total fantasy points through six weeks.
Don't bench Wilson for just anyone, but there's a case to stream several guys over him. This offense with Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, KJ Hamler, Greg Dulcich, and a trio of formidable backs could eventually begin to come alive, but until we see it, Wilson is far from a strong fantasy option at quarterback.
