Green Bay Packers wide reciever Romeo Doubs (concussion) suffered a concussion in Week 12 and wasn't able to finish the game. He was placed into the leagues concussion protocol, and missed both Week 13 and Week 14. Many fantasy managers are wondering if they should start fellow Packers WR Dontayvion Wicks instead.
We saw in 2023 that in the absence of one or more of Green Bay's top receivers (in that case, Christian Watson), the other wideouts would get more work (like WR Jayden Reed). So it's worth questioning if Doubs could miss Week 15, and if he does, whether Wicks will get a boost in volume and subsequently fantasy production.
So will Doubs take the field on Sunday, and should Wicks be started?

Is Romeo Doubs Playing In Week 15?
He cleared the concussion protocol on Thursday, meaning there's no reason he shouldn't be able to play in Week 15. Typically, players don't suffer setbacks in practices, and the team is likely to hold him out of any drills that could result in further head trauma. He should suit up on Sunday.

Should I Start Dontayvion Wicks for Fantasy Football Week 15
Probably not. He's had a poor season due to the heavy distribution of targets among the team's pass-catchers and his own failings at things like catching the football. It's been an ugly year for a player that looked promising last season and was highly efficient with his opportunities.

He's been prolific at making ugly drops seem routine, and it's unlikely we see an increase in his role because of that. Packers head coach Matt LaFleur also has a variety of weapons to work with in the passing game -- Watson, Reed, Doubs, Wicks, tight end Tucker Kraft, and running back Josh Jacobs all command at least a few targets.
There isn't much room for a GB WR to have a big game unless they're highly efficient or make massive plays. Wicks hasn't done either this season, so he should be left on the bench.
