Raheem Mostert Injury Update for Fantasy Football
The Miami Dolphins are coming off of a bye week after facing the Kansas City Chiefs in Germany back in Week 9. Running back Raheem Mostert had 12 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown in that game. Mostert has now found the end zone in seven of Miami's nine games this season.
Raheem Mostert didn't practice with the team on Monday, but the reasons that Mostert didn't practice were not disclosed. It might have just been as simple as the team giving the veteran a day off, especially with this being an unofficial injury.
At this point, fantasy managers should head into Week 11 with the belief that Raheem Mostert will be good to go against the Raiders this week.
Raheem Mostert Fantasy Football Outlook
The bigger concern for Raheem Mostert isn't that he may or may not be dealing with an injury. It's that De'Von Achane is eligible to return from the Injured Reserve this week. The rookie has been very good this season, rushing for over 100 yards in his past three games.
Mostert has been productive all season, but his worst game came with Achane in the lineup in Week 4, rushing seven times for nine yards. The return of De'Von Achane could be a hit to Mostert's fantasy value.
Still, Raheem Mostert had two good games while playing with Achane as well, scoring three touchdowns in Week 3 and another in Week 5. Don't expect Mostert to lose his value heading into this game against the Raiders. Vegas allows the eighth-most fantasy points per game to the running back position, so there's still RB2 value with Raheem Mostert.
