After being drafted in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua immediately made a name for himself in the NFL. With Cooper Kupp nursing a hamstring injury, Nacua surprisedly stepped in as the team's WR1.
Nacua then went on to have the greatest rookie season by a wide receiver in NFL history. He totaled 105 catches for 1,486 yards and six touchdowns in 2023. Those numbers helped him finish as the WR4 in PPR formats.
So, can Nacua repeat that fantasy success in 2024? Will he finish as a top-five fantasy wide receiver? Let's dive in and find out.

Puka Nacua 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook
Nacua was the waiver wire pickup of the year in 2023 after going undrafted in most leagues. The 23-year-old averaged 17.6 PPR fantasy points per game. He also totaled over 20 fantasy points in seven contests while scoring in double figures in 14 of 17 games.
Now, entering Year 2, Nacua should be a strong fantasy option again. He still has Matthew Stafford throwing him passes in the receiving game, and not much has changed in Los Angeles' offense from last season.

The biggest change, though, will be that Kupp is healthy entering the year. However, Nacua still saw his fair share of opportunities when the veteran was healthy and averaged 17.9 PPR fantasy points from Week 11 to Week 17. As a result, fantasy managers should draft the 23-year-old with confidence in 2024.
Is Puka Nacua A Top-Five Fantasy Football Wide Receiver In 2024?
There's no doubt that Nacua was one of the best fantasy options last season. He won plenty of championships for fantasy managers in 2023 after finishing as a top-five wideout. His 17.6 PPR fantasy points per game also ranked sixth at the position. So, can he repeat that top-five fantasy finish in 2024? It's certainly possible, considering what he did as a rookie and the offense that he is a part of.

However, he falls just outside the top five in fantasy drafts this summer. CeeDee Lamb (2.9), Tyreek Hill (3.3), Justin Jefferson (4.4), Ja'Marr Chase (5.1), Amon-Ra St. Brown (6.1), and A.J. Brown (9.4) are all going higher than Nacua (10.3) in drafts.
While that doesn't mean he won't finish as a top-five fantasy wide receiver this season, it would be hard to take him over established stars like Lamb, Hill, Jefferson, Chase, and St. Brown in drafts. So, the Rams wideout just misses the top-five cut at the position heading into fantasy drafts in 2024.
