After he injured his ankle just before halftime, Patrick Mahomes later returned to play in the second half. Since it was a blowout win for the Chiefs, Mahomes and multiple starters didn't play in most of the second half.
As per the latest updates, the two-time NFL MVP is healthy and will play in Week 4 against the Jets. This is great news for all the Chiefs fans as well as all the fantasy managers who have him on their teams.
Against the Bears, Mahomes completed 24/33 throws for 272 yards and three touchdowns. He had a passer rating of 127.3 in that game and recorded 25.7 points in the PPR league despite not playing the entire game.
Patrick Mahomes Fantasy Football Outlook
After three weeks, Patrick Mahomes is ranked #5 among the quarterbacks for total points accumulated in PPR leagues. He has a total of 68.4 points, and his performance will continue to get better as we go further into the season.
With Travis Kelce now fully healthy and other Chiefs receivers like Justin Watson and Rashee Rice stepping up, the Chiefs quarterback will continue to put up monster numbers.
He will go against a tough Jets defense in Week 4, but a quarterback of Mahomes' caliber is capable of outplaying them. So far this season, Mahomes has thrown for 803 yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions in three games, with a passer rating of 99.5.
