Odell Beckham Jr. signed a three-year, $3 million deal with the Miami Dolphins this offseason. The AFC East franchise also drafted wide receiver Malik Washington in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Dolphins also signed Jaylen Waddle to a three-year, $84.75 million contract extension and have positioned themselves to have a stellar group of receivers for years to come.
While Tyreek Hill and Waddle are the clear-cut WR1 and WR2 for the Dolphins, who is the WR3 for the team? Is Odell Beckham Jr. ahead of Malik Washington in the pecking order this year? Let's look at it.

Who is the Miami Dolphins' WR3?
Beckham Jr. is likely to be the Dolphins' WR3 this season. The 31-year-old wideout is coming off a season in which he had 35 receptions for 565 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games for the Ravens.
Although Washington will be behind Beckham Jr. in the depth chart, the rookie is expected to contribute to his team. The Dolphins are aware of Beckham's injury history, and they may limit his workload during the regular season.

Hill and Waddle will continue to see most of the action, but the likes of Washington, Beckham Jr., and Braxton Berrios will see a lot of playing time in the WR3 role. Dolphins' head coach Mike McDaniel is one of the brightest offensive minds in the league, and he will figure out a way to give Washington the chances he earns.
Who Should I Draft in Fantasy Football?
Prior to declaring for the draft, Washington had the best year of his five-year collegiate career during his lone season at Virginia. He recorded 110 receptions for 1,426 yards and nine touchdowns. Washington had a 4.47 40-yard dash timing at the 2024 NFL Combine, and he could eventually become a big player for the Dolphins in years to come. However, for this upcoming season, it would be wise to pick Odell Beckham Jr. instead.
The LSU product can serve as a flex option for fantasy players this year and could be a good fit for the WR3 position on your teams in case Hill or Waddle get hurt. Beckham Jr. has an average draft position of #242 and is a viable option in the latter rounds.
