Miami Dolphins wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. Beckham was a fantasy superstar during his time with the Giants, totaling 390 receptions on 622 targets for 5,476 receiving yards and 44 touchdowns in 59 games.
However, the veteran has struggled with injuries in his career, missing 32.5% of the contests, including the entire 2022 season. Furthermore, Beckham has bounced around the NFL, playing for three teams over the past three years.
The former LSU star signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins this offseason. Unfortunately, Beckham has been dealing with an injury.

Odell Beckham Jr. Injury Update For Fantasy Football
Miami placed the veteran wide receiver on the Physically Unable to Perform list to start training camp with an undisclosed injury. Head coach Mike McDaniel said it was something that Beckham was working through, and the Dolphins didn’t want him to suffer any setbacks by returning too soon. However, he seems confident that Beckham’s injury is minor.

Odell Beckham Jr. Fantasy Football Outlook
The veteran was once one of the top wide receivers in the NFL. However, his days as a fantasy superstar are over. Beckham had 35 receptions on 64 targets for 565 receiving yards and three touchdowns in 14 last season for the Baltimore Ravens despite playing in an inexperience and limited wide receiver room.

Beckham will have significant target competition in Miami. Tyreek Hill was arguably the top wide receiver in the NFL last season, while Jaylen Waddle is an emerging star. The veteran wide receiver hasn’t had any significant fantasy value since his first year with the Cleveland Browns in 2019.
Fantasy players might be drawn to Beckham because of his name and the Dolphins’ fantasy-friendly offense. However, the former superstar is a role player with limited upside. No one should be surprised if Jonnu Smith or the rookie Malik Washington sees more targets than him this season.
