Noah Brown Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Houston Texans wide receiver Noah Brown was playing the best football of his life, posting back-to-back games with over 150 receiving yards in Weeks 9 and 10. However, a knee injury caused Brown to miss the next two games.
He returned to the field last week and played 81% of Houston's snaps, but the knee issue might have still been causing some issues based on his stat line. He was targeted just twice and failed to record a catch.
Brown was limited in practice earlier this week because of the knee issue, but it sounds like he's good to go moving forward, as he practiced on Wednesday with no setbacks. He's expected to play in Week 14 against the Jets.
Noah Brown Fantasy Football Outlook
With rookie wide receiver Tank Dell done for the year, the Texans are going to need a lot from Noah Brown as he likely moves into the role as the team's No. 2 receiver.
The good news is that we've seen him produce some big numbers already this season, so while last week's return from injury didn't go well for Brown, he should be in line for some strong production going forward.
Fantasy managers should consider Brown to be a high-upside WR3 most weeks, though he rates more as a high-end WR4 option in Week 14 as the Texans face a tough Jets pass defense.
