Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins is one of the NFL's best wide receivers, but he was forced out of Sunday's win over the Buffalo Bills with a hamstring injury.

Now, the Texans prepare to head into a Week 6 game against the New England Patriots with question marks about the team's top wideout.

But will Nico Collins be available for Houston's Week 6 game against the Patriots? Is Collins injured? What is the latest Collins injury news?

Nico Collins Injury Update for Fantasy Football

Collins scored a 67-yard touchdown on Sunday against the Bills, but he left the game in the first half with a hamstring injury and did not return.

Once Collins was out of the game, the Texans offense stopped moving the ball. The team held on for the win, but it wasn't because of the offense. The Bills were just unable to complete their comeback attempt.

Texans now have changed Nico Collins’ injury designation from “day to day” to “week to week”, a sign that it could be tough for the WR to return in time for Sunday’s game at New England.

Originally, the Texans said that Collins was day-to-day with his hamstring injury, but on Monday that was updated to week-to-week, which puts his Week 6 status in serious doubt.

Fantasy managers with Collins on their roster should be prepared to be without Collins in Week 6 against the New England Patriots.

Nico Collins Fantasy Football Outlook

A healthy Collins has established himself as one of the NFL's best wide receivers, catching 32 passes for 567 yards and three touchdowns through the first five games this season.

If Collins surprisingly suits up against New England in Week 6, Collins is a clear must-play wideout. But what if he's out?

Stefon Diggs hasn't been spectacular in his first year in Houston, but he has a strong stat line with 31 catches for 315 yards and two touchdowns.

The biggest beneficiary of Collins missing time would be second-year receiver Tank Dell. Dell hasn't been great this season, but he has flex appeal if pressed into a larger role because of his game-breaking speed.
