Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb tore his ACL, PCL, and MCL in Week 2 of the 2023 season and has not played since. This was the second time that Chubb had suffered a major injury to that same knee.
But it certainly sounds like the Browns expect to have Chubb back on the field on Monday night when the team takes on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Will Nick Chubb start for the Browns when he returns in Week 7? What is Chubb's fantasy football outlook when he returns?

Will Nick Chubb Start For The Browns When He Returns?
Ideally, the Browns would be able to ramp Chubb back up slowly and let Jerome Ford remain the lead back for a little bit, but there's one issue there as Ford is dealing with a hamstring injury. Ford has already been ruled out.
Players already ruled out for Sunday include Jonathan Taylor, Jerome Ford (pictured), Jonathon Brooks, Josey Jewell, Taylor Moton, Dorance Armstrong, Blake Cashman, Azeez Al-Shaair, Kamari Lassiter, Jimmie Ward, Robert Woods, Dallas Goedert, Jamie Gillan, Adoree Jackson, Tre… pic.twitter.com/KgjMDMIwzE

This likely means Chubb will start for the team on Monday against the Bengals, but expect his touches to be managed, with D'Onta Foreman still seeing a number of touches as the Browns work Chubb back slowly.
So, while Chubb should technically "start" and have the first carry of the game, he won't see a huge workload in his first game back.
Nick Chubb Fantasy Football Outlook
The Browns are in a state of uncertainty right now. They traded wide receiver Amari Cooper and now welcome Chubb back, which should mean an even bigger focus on the run game going forward.
Nick Chubb is an absolute dawg. I'm rooting for him.https://t.co/ELUaAlHK9G pic.twitter.com/GEfMqwvJTp

With quarterback Deshaun Watson struggling, it makes sense to get Chubb and the other running backs the ball and to keep the ball out of Watson's hands.
After such a long layoff, it's tough to view Chubb as anything more than a low-end RB2 play this week. There's definitely upside, but the team will likely be slow with him. If he responds well, he has RB1 upside later on in the season.
