Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris was a polarizing fantasy football draft pick this year. Some were excited about the former Alabama star with Arthur Smith taking over as the team’s offensive coordinator.
Meanwhile, others wanted nothing to do with the Steelers’ offense. Harris is the RB31 over the first three weeks, averaging 69.7 rushing yards and 9.1 half-point PPR fantasy points per game.
The former Alabama star is coming off his best performance this season, totaling 11.1 fantasy points in Week 3. Unfortunately, Harris left the game banged up.

Is Najee Harris Hurt Or Healthy?
Reportedly, the star running back was wearing a sling on his right arm after Sunday’s win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Meanwhile, Jaylen Warren is getting an MRI on his knee. However, Harris is expected to be fine and ready to play Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.

That is excellent news for fantasy players, especially if Warren misses the Week 4 contest. The Colts have surrendered 136.3 rushing yards per game to running backs this year, including 175 or more in their first two contests.
Meanwhile, Cordarrelle Patterson is an appealing waiver wire target this week.
Should I Pick Up Cordarrelle Patterson?
Fantasy players in 12-team or deeper leagues should consider adding Patterson off the waiver wire. The veteran running back played a season-high 34% of the snaps last week, the same number as Warren. More importantly, he averaged 8.2 yards per rushing attempt against the Chargers, the highest average on the team.

Patterson has little fantasy value if Harris and Warren play on Sunday. However, he is a flex option if Warren is out. Furthermore, the veteran is a top-10 running back if Harris and Warren can’t play against the Colts.
While it is a long shot, fantasy players should add Patterson off the waiver wire and see how the Steelers’ injury report goes this week. The veteran could be a Week 4 matchup winner if given enough touches.
