Is Najee Harris Hurt Or Healthy?
Steelers' running back Najee Harris headed into a Week 12 Monday Night Football matchup against the Indianapolis Colts on the heels of his best outing of the season in Week 11. Harris racked up 116 total yards and two TDs against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Unfortunately, Harris wasn't able to keep the momentum going, as he suffered an abdominal injury in the first half against Indy. Pittsburgh's RB1 left the game shortly before halftime and was ruled out at the start of the third quarter. News has been slow to trickle in on the extent of Harris' injury, but Steelers' HC Mike Tomlin expects more information to be available Tuesday morning.
Najee Harris Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 13
Steelers' fans and Harris' fantasy managers will be on pins and needles for the next 24 hours, as they await word on their workhorse RB's abdominal injury.
This setback comes just as the former University of Alabama star was finding his footing and performing well.
To make matters worse, the Steelers' backfield situation behind Harris is murky, to say the least, as his back-up Jaylen Warren missed Week 12 with a hamstring injury. The third back on the Pittsburgh depth chart, Benny Snell Jr. filled in admirably against the Colts, registering 68 total yards and a TD on Monday night. Harris' fantasy managers should monitor his injury status and look for news as soon as Tuesday.
