New York Jets quarterback Mike White has been solid this season. The veteran quarterback is the QB39 for the year, averaging 14.1 fantasy points per game.
While he is outside top-35 quarterbacks for the year, the former Western Kentucky star has played only four games this season. Yet, White has a higher points-per-game average than any other quarterback on the roster.
The veteran quarterback suffered fractured ribs in the Week 14 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. After missing two games, he returned last week against the Seattle Seahawks.

Is Mike White Playing In Week 18?
Unfortunately, White struggled against the Seahawks. He had two interceptions in the game, ending the contest with only 3.6 fantasy points. However, the veteran quarterback took a hard hit to his ribs early in the game and struggled to finish the contest.
Between the old rib injury and the new one he suffered last week, White won’t play in Week 18 against the Miami Dolphins.
Since the Jets were eliminated from the playoffs last week, it’s no surprise the team won’t let White play in Week 18. Instead, Joe Flacco will get the start for New York.
Should I Pickup And Start Joe Flacco?
With Zach Wilson recovering from a knee injury, Flacco started the first three games this year. The veteran quarterback averaged 14.9 fantasy points per game during those three starts, throwing five touchdown passes compared to three interceptions.
Meanwhile, the matchup this week is appealing for fantasy players. The Dolphins have surrendered 20.5 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season, the second-most in the NFL.
While Flacco is a solid cheap DFS pick for Week 18, fantasy players in season-long leagues should look for a better streaming option. Fantasy players should check their waiver wire for Jarrett Stidham.
Last week he made his first start this season, totaling 26 fantasy points against the San Francisco 49ers. Furthermore, he and Patrick Mahomes are the only two quarterbacks with three or more passing touchdowns against the 49ers this year.
Meanwhile, the veteran faces the Kansas City Chiefs tomorrow. They have surrendered two or more passing touchdowns in 75% of their games this season.
