Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans has often found himself on the injury report, causing fantasy managers to sweat out start-or-sit decisions during the regular season. However, his injury concerns have also followed him just about every offseason for the last few seasons.
Of course, injuries are a hot topic right before the thick of fantasy season, so we must be sure to monitor the latest updates on each player.
The 29-year-old Pro-Bowl fixture has been dealing with some hamstring issues that have either held him out of practice or caused him to practice on a limited basis. With Chris Godwin coming off of a torn ACL, Evans is primed to smash early on if healthy. Is there any concern Evans could miss Week 1?

Is Mike Evans Injured for Fantasy Football?
Evans was a full participant in practice Monday (Aug 22), so any concerns drafters had can be put to rest.
Again, he has constantly been on the injury report with hamstring and other lower body ailments throughout his stellar career, and we can probably expect that to continue during the regular season.
While Evans is still a stud, he is 29 years old and just at the end of the wide receiver age apex. The risk of injury is certainly high with a player of his size and profile, but we have seen year after year, that the risk is worth the upside, especially since Tom Brady came to town.
Even if Evans pops up on the injury report again before your fantasy draft – don't sweat it unless there is a real indication it's something major.
Will Mike Evans Play Fantasy Football Week 1?
Since he practiced in full at the start of the week, he's expected to be ready for Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.
Where Should I Draft Mike Evans for Fantasy Football?
Draft him early and draft him often as the season approaches. Even if Chris Godwin is ready to go in Week 1, he won't be fully healthy and Julio Jones is well past his prime. Expect double-digit targets from Tom Brady weekly in the early part of the season for Evans.
