Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans posted Hall-of-Fame numbers through his first nine seasons in the NFL -- accumulating at least 1,000 receiving yards in each campaign. Many fantasy managers were worried that Baker Mayfield would tank his production, but that has not been the case up to this point.
Unfortunately, Evans picked up an injury in last week's win over the New Orleans Saints. However, the team is on a bye in Week 5, so he could recover during the time off and not miss any action.
Is Evans injured or healthy? What's his fantasy outlook after the Week 6 bye? Let's dive in.

Mike Evans Injury Update for Fantasy Football
The belief is that Mike Evans (hamstring) is dealing with a mild hamstring injury that he suffered in the Week 4 win over the New Orleans Saints, according to sources. It bodes well for his return following the team's Week 5 bye, but he'll undergo an MRI exam on Tuesday to confirm it. Evans left the game in the second quarter on Sunday and never returned, finishing with three catches for 40 yards in the win.
The 30-year-old was seen riding a stationary bike on the sidelines and was trying to return, but Tampa held him out as a precaution.
The bye week comes at a perfect time for Evans and his fantasy managers, as he should be back out there in Week 6 against the visiting Detroit Lions on Sunday, October 15.
Mike Evans Fantasy Football Outlook
Through four weeks, Evans has posted 20 catches on 31 targets for 337 yards and three touchdowns. He finished in the top-20 wideouts in half-PPR fantasy points in each of the first three weeks but obviously disappointed in Week 4 since he exited early.
Mayfield is excelling at the Bucs' QB1, so the 30-year-old wideout should be started in all matchups when he's healthy and active. He could prove to be one of the best preseason draft values at the position.
