Is Michael Wilson Playing In Week 9?
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson is coming off a strong showing against the Ravens, as he was targeted six times in the loss, catching four passes for 58 yards. He now has 25 receptions for 401 yards and two touchdowns this season.
Wilson did not practice this week because of a shoulder injury, though. Not logging a practice during a week is usually a bad sign for his availability.
While he hasn't been ruled out yet, Bo Brack of PHNX believes that Wilson will likely be out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.
Should I Start Rondale Moore for Fantasy Football Week 9
With Michael Wilson unlikely to play and running back Emari Demercado already ruled out, there's room for Rondale Moore to make an impact on the field on Sunday.
Moore has seen usage in the run game and the pass game this season, with multiple carries and targets in four consecutive contests. Against Baltimore, he had two receptions for 10 yards and added two carries for 11 yards.
Despite the variety of ways he's getting the ball, Moore has had 26 or fewer scrimmage yards in three consecutive games. However, there's some deep league appeal if Demercado and Wilson are both out. The Cardinals won't have a ton of reliable skill players in this game, so Moore could see increased work in multiple facets of the game. Wilson's absence also helps tight end Trey McBride, who should be considered a TE1 play in Week 9.
