Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman started to his stride in fantasy football before suffering an injury after the Week 9 win over the Tennessee Titans. Hardman scored an average of 18.28 PPR points in the four games between Weeks 5 and 9, so there's a chance he could be a viable DFS option if he can return for the playoffs.
While fantasy managers would be apprehensive about starting him in traditional leagues, DFS contests are geared toward pure upside and finding value to build lineups.
All that said, is Hardman finally ready to make his return for the Divisional game against the Jacksonville Jaguars? Let's find out.

Mecole Hardman Injury Update for Fantasy Football
Hardman (pelvis) was activated off of Injured Reserve early last week but did not suit up for the team's regular-season finale against the Las Vegas Raiders. Hardman was able to log limited practices on Thursday and Friday in Week 18, signaling that he is nearing a return to action that should come at some point during the playoffs.
For now, we can assume he'll be active against the Jaguars, but fantasy gamers and DFSers should stay tuned for further updates throughout the week.
Mecole Hardman Divisional Round Fantasy Outlook
While Hardman is far from a safe or bust-proof option, he has some value in DFS contests. Affording Patrick Mahomes-Travis Kelce stacks is extremely difficult with their hefty price tags in these contests, so fitting Hardman in lineups could be a way to make that work.
However, Skyy Moore (hand) could also return for this contest, so that's worth monitoring when deciding whether or not to play Hardman in the Divisional round. Kadarius Toney, Moore, and Justin Watson are also budget-friendly options to throw in on Mahomes stacks, but it's tough to predict who could be the featured pass-catcher behind Kelce and JuJu Smith-Schuster.
At the end of the day, Hardman is a touchdown-or-bust choice, but Kansas City traditionally loves to spread the love, and it won't be surprising if Andy Reid draws up some red zone touches for Hardman if he does return. There's certainly no reason to force Hardman into DFS lineups, but he should absolutely be a consideration ahead of Saturday's showdown.
