Matthew Stafford has spent the majority of the 2022 NFL season simply trying to survive behind a horrible Los Angeles Rams offensive line that has been ravaged by injuries.
Stafford himself popped up with some injury concerns Wednesday, as L.A. head coach Sean McVay announced that the veteran QB entered the NFL's concussion protocol on Tuesday. This serious situation puts Stafford's playing status for a Week 10 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals up in the air.

Is Matthew Stafford Hurt Or Healthy?
After leading the L.A. Rams to Super Bowl glory last year, there's certainly been a hangover present for Matthew Stafford and this Rams offensive unit in 2022.
Stafford has been under heavy pressure this season behind a leaky Rams offensive line, including in last week's loss to the Tampa Bay Bucs. It appears those hits have taken a serious toll, as the star QB missed L.A.'s Wednesday practice due to being placed in the NFL's concussion protocol.
Matthew Stafford Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 10
A concussion always has the potential to be a tricky injury, as the timetable for everyone is different. We do know that the NFL has resharpened its focus on concussions after the scary Tua Tagovailoa situation earlier this season.
Stafford entered the league's concussion protocol on Tuesday, which means he could theoretically be cleared to play against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 10. Today, Rams head coach Sean McVay said that the team would take it one day at a time with Stafford.
Stafford's fantasy impact has been minimal in 2022, as he's thrown for more than one TD in just a single game this season. Fantasy GMs that are interested in Stafford's status should continue to monitor the situation as the week progresses, but wise fantasy managers should have a contingency plan in place for Week 10.
