Former Oklahoma wide receiver Marvin Mims established himself as the Sooner's No. 1 wide receiver in his junior season, earning second-round (63rd overall) draft capital via the Denver Broncos.
Mims was an explosive receiver throughout his three-year career and earned First-Team All-Big 12 honors in 2022. Now, he's set to join an offense led by Russell Wilson.
Is Mims a good fit for the Broncos and what can we expect from him as a rookie in fantasy football? Let's dive in.

What Did Marvin Mims Accomplish At Oklahoma?
As a true freshman with Spencer Rattler under center, Mims caught 37 passes for 610 yards and nine touchdowns in 10 games. He caught just 30 passes for 648 yards and four touchdowns the following year.
His junior season would be his true breakout year, as the 5'11' Mims hauled in 52 passes for 1,006 yards and six touchdowns. The Oklahoma offense regressed mightily in the absence of head coach Lincoln Riley and quarterback Caleb Williams, but Mims was a bright spot on the team and produce anyway.
He posted elite speed and explosion testing at the 2023 NFL Combine, which likely cemented his status as a top-two-round selection in a weak wide receiver class.
Is Marvin Mims A Good Fit For The Broncos?
While Sean Payton has stated Jerry Jeudy nor Courtland Sutton will be traded, there's still a chance it happens. Even if not, Mims should slot in as the WR3 with a chance to increase his role. Russell Wilson was a shell of his former self last season, but hopefully, he can bounce back and support at least two fantasy-relevant wide receivers.
Mims has a chance to make an impact as a rookie, but he could also be more of a long-term play in dynasty rookie drafts. In redraft formats, he is worth a late-round flyer since we could see movement among Broncos' wideouts before the season begins.
It's a smart process to have exposure to rookie wideouts who were drafted in the first two rounds and Mims has the speed and explosiveness to be a perfect recipient of Wilson's favorite throw -- the deep ball.
