Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marquise Brown was part of a blockbuster trade during the NFL draft. He was traded from the Baltimore Ravens to the Cardinals to join Kyler Murray and company.
The move proved to be a fruitful one for his fantasy value. He has 43 receptions for 485 yards and three touchdowns over the first six games as the WR6 on the year thus far.
Unfortunately, Brown left their game against the Seahawks early after landing awkwardly on his foot following an attempted catch. The injury required him to be helped off the field and kept him from returning to the game. Now fantasy managers need to know, is Brown healthy or injured? And equally important, what can they expect for Week 7 and beyond? Let's dive in.

Marquise Brown Injury Updates for Fantasy Football
As described above, Brown left their matchup against Seattle on Sunday and did not return. There was optimism about the injury later Sunday evening because the x-rays were negative, despite him being seen in a walking boot after the game.
The update above provided hope that it may not be a significant injury, and perhaps he could even return to action in Week 7.
Marquise Brown Injury News
There were many medical professionals weighing in, all of whom expressed concern about the severity of the injury, speculating on possible outcomes such as a Lisfranc or toe sprain. In the end, their pessimism turned out to be justified.
Suddenly, the hope that he might suit up this week was gone, and managers began to worry that they had lost their star receiver for the season.
Is Marquise Brown Injured or Playing in Week 7?
Thankfully, the final update was much more positive, indicating that Brown should be back later this season.
The timeline mentioned above is about six weeks, which means he definitely won't be active in Week 7 but could make a return as early as Week 13. The Cardinals have their bye week in Week 13, so a realistic target for his return would be Week 14, barring any setbacks or unforeseen circumstances.
Depending on your league, Week 15-17 is likely when playoffs occur, meaning you would get him back in time, assuming you can make it in without him. Alternatively, you could look to ship him off to another manager that is willing to hold him until then in exchange for a player you can start in your lineup over the next seven-plus weeks.
