New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers had high expectations entering the NFL. However, the rookie wide receiver has blown them out of the water.
The former LSU star is the WR2 over the first month, averaging 18.5 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. Nabers has been a target machine, totaling 12 or more in three consecutive contests.
Unfortunately, fantasy players might be without the superstar wide receiver in Week 5. Who could they add off the waiver wire to replace him? Let’s dive into it.

Is Malik Nabers Playing This Week?
Nabers has averaged 13 targets per game this season, including 15 per contest over the past three weeks. While fantasy players love the target volume, it has put the superstar rookie at more risk for an injury.
Last week, he suffered a concussion late in the Thursday night loss to the Dallas Cowboys after seeing 15 targets. Fantasy players and the Giants hope the rookie can clear the concussion protocol before Sunday’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. Unfortunately, Nabers seems like a long shot to play this week.

Who Can I Add Off The Waiver Wire?
Wan'Dale Robinson will benefit if Nabers can’t play on Sunday. The third-year player is the WR27, averaging 10 fantasy points per game, scoring 8.8 or more in every contest. Unfortunately, he is dealing with a minor heel injury. Yet, Robinson should be ready for Sunday’s matchup against Seattle.
However, the veteran might not be on the waiver wire in your league. If he isn’t, Jordan Whittington is an appealing deeper league target. Last week, the rookie had a full-time role, running a route on 97% of the pass plays, earning a 28% target share and a 26% air-yards share.

God knows we are all hurting.

Furthermore, Whittington had a career-high eight targets in Week 4 after seeing five over the first three weeks. He faces a Green Bay Packers defense that has surrendered 1.3 receiving touchdowns and 30.3 fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season.
