Mac Jones Injury Update for Fantasy Football
As per the latest reports, Mac Jones had an X-ray in Germany after the game to check for the bruise. It is believed that the injury is not serious, and the quarterback will be ready to play in the next game.
Whether he still starts for them or not remains to be seen, but as for his availability, he will be ready if called upon. He has played all 10 games for the Patriots this season and has managed to stay healthy after dealing with an ankle injury last season.
Other Patriots players, like DeVante Parker and Trent Brown, could also return to play in Week 12 against the New York Giants. It will be a very big game for the Patriots, and fans will be intrigued to see if Zappe gets the nod ahead of Jones.
Mac Jones Fantasy Football Outlook
It's no secret that Mac Jones has struggled massively this season. Even with the arrival of Bill O'Brien as the new offensive coordinator, the quarterback has failed to improve.
In 10 games this season, he has thrown for 2,031 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He is completing 65.4% of his passes while averaging just 203.1 passing yards per game.
Over the first 10 weeks of the season, Jones has accumulated a total of 116.8 points in full PPR-scoring leagues. He is averaging just 11.2 points per game, and given how poor the Patriots' offense has been, Jones is definitely not a good option for anyone's fantasy team.
