Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has had a solid 2022 season. The former MVP is the QB12 for the year, averaging 18.2 fantasy points per game despite missing time with an injury.
He has played well despite a limited receiving core. Rashod Bateman played only six games this year before suffering a season-ending injury. Yet, Jackson has thrown 17 touchdowns this season.
The former first-round pick has missed three games this season with a PCL sprain he suffered in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos. He hasn’t played since the injury.

Is Lamar Jackson Playing In Week 17?
While the team and fantasy players were hopeful, Jackson won’t play against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night. Fantasy players whose season ends this week can drop the star quarterback.
With Jackson set to miss his fourth straight game, Tyler Huntley will again start for the Ravens.
Should I Pickup And Start Tyler Huntley For Fantasy Football?
Unfortunately, Huntley hasn’t been able to overcome Baltimore’s poor receiving core like Jackson has this season. The backup quarterback has averaged only 132 passing yards and 10.1 fantasy points per game this year, throwing for under 190 yards in every contest.
Instead of adding Huntley, fantasy players should add Mike White off the waiver wire and start him in Week 17. The New York Jets quarterback has missed the past two games with a rib injury. However, he was cleared to play and will start this week against the Seattle Seahawks.
White has started three games this year, averaging 317.3 passing yards and 17.7 fantasy points per game. Furthermore, the veteran scored 17.5 or more fantasy points in two of those contests.
More importantly, he has an appealing matchup in Week 17. The Seahawks have given up 16.8 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season, the 11th-most in the NFL.
Seattle has also given up two or more passing scores in five of their past seven games, including two straight contests. Furthermore, quarterbacks have averaged two passing touchdowns and 20.1 fantasy points per game over the past two weeks against the NFC North team.
Fantasy players who need a last-minute waiver-wire replacement at quarterback should add White.
