Is Lamar Jackson Playing In Week 14 Against the Steelers?
Lamar Jackson is currently battling a sprained PCL injury suffered in last week's game against the Denver Broncos. Jackson has been unable to participate in practice all week.
While officially listed as doubtful for Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jackson has basically been ruled out for this one. Ravens' HC John Harbaugh confirmed as much with his comments to the media on Friday.
Should I Pick Up and Start Tyler Huntley In Week 14?
With Jackson expected to be out against Pittsburgh, Tyler Huntley will get the starting nod for the Ravens in Week 14. He stepped in for the injured Jackson in last week's win over the Denver Broncos. Huntley connected on 27 of 32 pass attempts for 187 yards and a pick, while also rushing for 41 yards and a TD.
While last week marked Huntley's first action of the season, he's no stranger to filling in for Jackson. Huntley started five games for Baltimore in 2021, throwing for 1,081 yards, three TDs, and four INTS, while rushing for 294 yards and two scores.
Huntley rushed for at least 40 yards in every one of his starts last year and crossed that mark again in his relief appearance last week. That dynamic ability on the ground gives him a solid fantasy floor. With many fantasy managers scrambling to replace Jackson in their lineups or dealing with bye weeks, Huntley can be picked up and started by those GMs that are in a tough spot this week.
