We’re officially deep into the fantasy football playoffs. As managers set their lineups for Week 16, it is imperative to follow the status of injured players. Being in the know can propel one manager over another in the fight for fantasy glory.
This week, the status of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been a major talking point. Having the mobile quarterback healthy would provide an enormous boost for managers looking to advance to the next round.
Is Lamar Jackson or Tyler Huntley starting for the Ravens as they take on the Atlanta Falcons this Saturday? Is either quarterback worth inserting into fantasy lineups?

Is Lamar Jackson or Tyler Huntley Starting in Week 16 Fantasy Football?
Jackson (knee) has been sidelined since Week 13. Huntley (shoulder) started each of the past two games but has struggled, failing to generate significant points for the Ravens or his fantasy squads.
The Ravens released their injury report leading up to Week 16 and officially listed Jackson as out. Thus, for a third consecutive game, playoff-hopeful Baltimore will start Huntley, who is expected to suit up despite being listed as questionable with a shoulder injury.
Tyler Huntley Week 16 Fantasy Football Outlook
Huntley himself is dealing with an injury and is questionable for Saturday’s game, but there is little doubt about his availability.
Over parts of three games since Jackson went down, Huntley has completed just 52 of 74 passes for 413 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions. He has added some value on the ground, though, rushing 25 times for 87 yards and one score. The 24-year-old registered 17.45 fantasy points when relieving Jackson in Week 13 but has just 13.9 points combined over two weeks since.
It bears mentioning that the Ravens are going up against a Falcons defense that has allowed 18.3 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks (10th-highest in the NFL). While that number is intriguing, it primarily reflects Atlanta’s woeful secondary, which has struggled to defend the pass. Not only is Huntley a run-oriented quarterback, but the Ravens are without Rashod Bateman and Devin Duvernay. Outside of the usual Mark Andrews workload, expect Huntley and the Ravens to steer clear from passing frequently and instead deploy the same run-heavy approach they have utilized since Jackson went down in early December.
With all these factors in mind, Huntley is mainly appealing in fantasy leagues where you can start two quarterbacks. If you’re desperate, he can also be started in single-quarterback leagues, but don’t lose sight of the fact that he’s still a low-end QB2 with an even lower floor.
